I am a FCC licensed amateur extra class amateur radio operator with the call sign of KB1NCG. I was granted my technician license February 14, 2006, granted my general on March 20, 2007, and finally got my amateur extra on January 28, 2011. I also am a Basic+ licensee in Canada as VA3NCG which I obtained in December, 2009.
I am the Amateur Radio Emergency Service District Emergency Coordinator for Metro-Boston in Eastern Massachusetts. I run the Eastern Massachusetts ARES facebook page, which includes storm spotting for the National Weather Service SkyWarn program.
